영어성경읽기 [마가복음] Mark 2:18-28

* 매일 아침 눈을 뜨는 게, 하루를 시작하는 게
사명이라고 누군가 말하던 것이 생각나네요.
문득 모든 것이 지겹고
만사가 귀찮아 지는 날도 있지요.
잠시 쉬어도 괜찮습니다.
다시 힘을 내어 시작하면 되니까요!

18. Now John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting.
그때 세례요한의 제자들과 바리새인들은 금식하고 있었다.
Some people came and asked Jesus,
몇몇 사람들이 왔다 그리고 예수님께 물었다
"How is it that
어째서 ~ 인가?
어째서
John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees are fasting,
세례요한의 제자들과 바리새인들의 제자들은 금식을 하는데
but yours are not?"
당신의 제자들은 안 합니까?

19. Jesus answered,
예수님이 대답하셨다
"How can the guests of the bridegroom fast
신랑의 손님이 어떻게 금식을 할 수 있는가?
while he is with them?
그가(신랑) 그들과 함께 있는 동안에
They cannot,
그들은 그럴 수 없다
so long as they have him with them.
~하는 동안
그들이(손님) 그들과(손님) 함께 그를(신랑) 데리고 있는 동안에는

20. But the time will come
그러나 그 때가 올 것이니,
when the bridegroom will be taken from them,
신랑이 그들로부터 빼앗겨 질 때
and on that day
그리고 그 날에
they will fast.
그들은 금식을 할 것이다.

21. "No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth
ㅡㅡㅡ*sew-sewed-sewn[쏘어우] 바느질하다
ㅡㅡㅡ*sow-sowed-sown[쏘어우] 씨를 뿌리다
어느 누구도 수축되지 않은 옷감의 조각을 깁지 않는다
on an old garment.
오래된 의복에
If he does,
그렇게 하면,
the new piece will pull away from the old,
새로운 조각이 오래된 것을 당길 것이다
making the tear worse.
찢어진 것을 더 나쁘게 만들면서

22. And no one pours new wine
그리고 새 와인을 붓는 사람은 없다
into old wineskins.
오래된 가죽부대에
If he does,
만일 그러면,
the wine will burst the skins,
와인이 그 부대를 터뜨릴 것이다
and both the wine and the wineskins
그리고 와인과 가죽부대 둘 다
will be ruined.
망쳐질 것이다.
No, he pours new wine into new wineskins."
새 와인은 새 가죽부대에 붓는다."

23. One Sabbath
한 안식일에
Jesus was going through the grainfields,
예수님이 곡식밭은 통과하고 계셨다
and as his disciples walked along,
그리고 그의 제자들도 따라서 걷고 있을 때
they began to pick some heads of grain.
그들이 그 곡식의 머리 몇개를 따기 시작했다

24. The Pharisees said to him,
바리새인들이 그에게(예수님) 말했다
"Look, why are they doing
이것 봐, 왜 저들은 하고있는거지
what is unlawful on the Sabbath?"
안식일에 불법인 것을?

25. He answered,
그는 대답했다
"Have you never read
당신들은 읽어본 적이 없는가
what David did
ㅡㅡ[대이빋]다윗
다윗이 했던 것을
when he and his companions were hungry and in need?
ㅡㅡ어려움에 처한, 궁핍한
그와 그의 동료들이 배고프고 어려움에 처했을 때

26. In the days of Abiathar the high priest,
대 제사장 아비아달의 시대에
he entered the house of God
그가(다윗) 하나님의 집에 들어갔다
and ate the consecrated bread,
성별하다, 봉헌하다, 바치다
그리고 봉헌된 빵을 먹었다
which is lawful only for priests to eat.
대제사장에게만 먹는것이 합법적인 빵을
And he also gave some to his companions."
그리고 그는 또한 그의 동료들에게도 좀 주었다

27. Then he said to them,
그리고 그는(예수님) 그들에게(바리새인) 말했다
"The Sabbath was made for man,
안식일은 사람을 위해 만들어졌다
not man for the Sabbath.
안식일을 위해 사람이 만들어진게 아니고

28. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath."
그래서 인자는 안식일의 주인도 된다
